Transaction Transport Technologies, LLC – T3 - provides IP (Internet Protocol) transport solutions designed to move transactions quickly and securely between the point of purchase and the payment processor of choice. As an IP solution, T3 advantages the public Internet for transaction routing. As a provider of secure transport, solutions, T3 supports both Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) and Virtual Private Network (VPN) configurations. Industry standard 128-Bit SSL encryption with T3 proprietary flavor is employed to deliver a solution that is not only secure but fast. Aggregated and distributed models of VPN enable users to implement a transport model that most closely supports their enterprise network operating environment and custom needs.
T3’s network architecture is designed for high speed transaction delivery over the Internet while insuring security and reliability. Multiple, geographically diverse, mirror image processing sites provide failover and failsafe processing all day, every day. Intelligent network routing manages load balancing in a manner that is transparent to any user or destination endpoint. Processing sites operate in total synchronization with each other, yet without interdependency. Capacity is managed so that should a crisis situation arise, each site is independently capable of handling all network traffic without degradation in quality of service. Quadriplex connectivity to each processing end point not only provides back up, but also ensures back up(s) for the back up. Advanced network management includes high level firewall and detection intrusion devices along with sophisticated proprietary monitoring programs that continually protect data security and integrity and detect any unauthorized random intrusion attempts.

Background
In the old order, only merchants with high transaction volumes and sophisticated internal operating systems could cost justify wired connectivity and the maintenance overhead required for high speed transaction processing. The advent of the Internet, low cost and readily available broadband connectivity along with IP ready terminals and software has dramatically changed that landscape. Now, high speed transport is not reserved for a few merchants, it is required by all.
In the old order, payment card acceptance was most often found in traditional vertical markets that included retail, hospitality, restaurants and mail order. Too, payments were generally restricted to traditional credit card acceptance. Today, consumers transact fewer payments in cash and check and merchants everywhere and anywhere accept payment cards. As the market s for card acceptance have expanded, payment card types have grown too. Now, in addition to traditional credit cards, payment card acceptance includes on-line debit, PIN debit, loyalty and gift cards, and many more.
Speed in payment processing, once reserved for only the largest and most sophisticated merchants is now required by all merchants and especially so by merchants in time sensitive segments such as Quick Service Restaurants, and Casual Service Restaurants.
