Precidia announces Strategic Alliance with T3 Joint solution connects merchant’s existing payment terminals to T3 VPN for faster transactions.Las Vegas, NV, April 9, 2003Precidia Technologies Inc., a global leader in the design and manufacture of Internet Protocol (IP) access devices, today announced a strategic alliance with Transaction Transport Technologies, LLC (T3). The relationship will team T3’s Virtual Private Network (VPN) service with Precidia’s Ether232 or EtherDial products, to provide merchants with a complete IP enabled point-of-sale (POS) solution.Precidia’s products connect dial based payment terminals and hospitality POS systems to IP networks for faster, more cost effective transaction processing. The Ether232 acts as a modem replacement solution for touch screen hospitality point-of-sale (POS) systems, connecting them to T3’s gateway. The EtherDial connects existing dial based payment terminals of any manufacturer to IP networks via Ethernet. By connecting to T3’s IP VPN, these merchants can offer their customers faster transactions, enhancing customer service. This solution, which does not require any upgrade or replacement of existing systems or equipment, also reduces costs, with the elimination of a dedicated dial line for transaction processing. “Working with T3, Precidia can address a broad range of merchants with a complete IP enabled solution,” said Deepak Wanner, President of Precidia Technologies. ”With T3’s solid reputation for service and reliability, and Precidia’s proven products, merchants can eliminate their dependence on dial lines for transaction processing, while retaining their existing POS equipment.” “Merchants want faster, more secure and more reliable transaction processing without changing check-out procedures or equipment”, said Bob Varner, President of T3. “T3 delivers the speed, security and reliability and Precidia solutions provide the bridge to get there.” About Precidia Technologies
