Management TeamKenneth Homza, Chief Financial Officer and Acting CEOWith T3 since 2006 and holding the dual positions of Chief Financial Officer and acting CEO, Ken brings 20 plus years of experience across finance, marketing and strategic roles to T3. His background spans positions with large, billion dollar corporations, mid-range companies and start-up ventures in technology, manufacturing, distribution, retail and service delivery organizations. Ken began his career with Unisys Corporation moving through a variety of key corporate development roles over a ten-year period. While at LensCrafters, Ken developed the company’s financial analysis department. There, he successfully championed the integration of financial thinking into new product, marketing and operating programs applying key metric measures as benchmarks for success. In 2000, Ken joined WorkNet Communications as Director of Finance where he took on responsibility for presenting the company’s financial story to the investment community. Later, as Chief Financial Officer with a $40 million privately held home furnishings retailer, Ken automated accounting processes and implemented internal controls thereby reducing the accounting close cycle by 60% while recovering substantial vendor overpayments and eliminating out-of-balance positions. Ken is a staunch advocate of the importance of financial modeling and key metric measurement to the growth and development of the company regardless of size. In addition to his daily responsibilities, Ken applies that commitment in the academic world as a sought after and frequent guest lecturer on the subject at various colleges in the St. Louis area including the MBA program at Washington University. Ken holds MBA and undergraduate degrees in business earned from the Carnegie Mellon Tepper School of Business in Pittsburgh, PA. Lynne Minichiello - Chief Marketing OfficerWith more than 25 years experience in payment and payment related product and services delivery, Lynne is a veteran in the payments industry. Her background includes senior management positions in marketing, sales, business development, product management and product development. As a long time advocate for customer centric service delivery, Lynne championed that focus during nine years at MasterCard International as Vice President of Marketing and earlier as Vice President of Sales, Northeast Region for the highly successful MasterCard Automated Point-of-Sale Program (MAPP). During that period she developed strategies for major account acquisition, and focused product development on an ‘easy to install, easy to use and easy to support’ orientation. Following the purchase of MAPP by National Data Corporation, Lynne served as Vice President of Business Development with then NDC subsidiary, Global Payment Systems. Early in her career, Lynne worked as Marketing Product and Services Manager for one of the first electronic draft capture programs in the country. Lynne is the founder of Wildwood Consulting Partners specializing in card payment products and services delivery. Prior to re-joining T3 in 2006, Lynne worked on the deployment of a stored value card program in Kuwait developed to replace cash use by military personnel serving in key activity theaters outside of the United States. Lynne holds an A.B. from Emmanuel College in Boston and attended Northeastern University Graduate School of Business. Rick Schmitt – Vice President ProductAs a T3 founder and 15 year veteran of payment card and transaction processing, Rick Schmitt applies his managerial and technical skills across product, operations and support areas. His prior experience includes managing high performance and delivery teams with companies such as CyberSource Corporation (formerly PayLinx), Global Payments and MasterCard International Past positions include key management roles in product development, quality assurance and application testing. Rick is known for his ability to balance the importance of quality of product and service delivery while maintaining sensitivity to time to market and customer satisfaction. Well known in the payments arena, Rick has established relationships with key terminal, equipment and solutions providers. In addition to product development and management responsibilities, Rick manages relationships with outside service suppliers and with Value Added Re-Sellers. Rick earned a B.S.B.A. in Marketing from Rockhurst College, Kansas City, MO. Kevin Cook – Vice President EngineeringResponsible for overall platform design and development, Kevin Cook has extensive experience in information technology, software development, and engineering. As part of the original T3 team, Kevin designed the original operating architecture for T3’s transport service offering and later, directed the build out of T3’s second site processing center. Today, in addition to managing the day-to-day product and service delivery, Kevin spearheads development of T3’s Hosted Payment Service offering. Kevin’s prior experience includes software development and quality assurance roles with CyberSource and PaylinX where he developed e-commerce and retail transaction processing software, as well as automated the software testing process. Earlier, Kevin worked as a flight controls engineer and software developer at Boeing. Kevin holds degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis and in Physics from Luther College in Iowa, both awarded Magna Cum Laude. Mark Going – Director Product and Service DeliveryA veteran in information technology and in payment card services delivery, Mark is also one of T3’s original employees. In his current role, Mark owns responsibility for T3’s administrative and support infrastructure, for quality assurance and for defining customer service policies and procedures. Mark also architects and builds automated scripts to test all new services and to measure throughput capabilities prior to implementation. Earlier in his career while at MasterCard International, Mark provided technical product support and managed a 10-terabyte data warehouse for MasterCard’s globally accessed report delivery service MasterCard Online. Later, while with CyberSource Corporation, Mark created automated test processes, defined regression-testing standards, and, developed automated script handling for testing, throughput and functionality. These processes subsequently became an integral part of CyberSource’s testing philosophy. Mark holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Management from Washington University in St. Louis, MO. AdvisorDavid W. TruetzelWith over twenty years of experience leading and guiding entrepreneurial and early stage development companies, as well as working with payment card and transaction processing companies, David is a most valued Advisor to T3. David is currently Managing Member of Augury Capital Management and General Partner of Augury Capital Partners, LLC an emerging technologies venture capital fund focused on financial services and information technology. Earlier in his career, David was Chief Financial Officer of First USA subsidiary and leading payment processor Paymentech where he successfully guided Paymentech’s initial public offering and orchestrated twenty-two acquisitions over a two year period. Subsequent to Paymentech, David served as Chief Financial Officer of PaylinX, an early provider of ecommerce services to retailers until its sale to CyberSource Corporation. David earned an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and holds a B.S. in Accounting from Saint Louis University. A resident of St. Louis, he is a member of the Board of Directors of Enterprise Bank, Inc. and is a Certified Public Accountant.
